cows copped it in 2005 (from memory 7 teams who made the finals that year did). Worst we copped was 44, along with a game against the Donkeys where they ran up 40 by the hour mark and put the cue in the rack.

Yeah that first half of the 2000's was weird and it's a minor miracle this stat survived that era.

Newcastle in 2001 conceded 40 five times. In 2002 goal kicking was the only thing that stopped us conceding 50

Well quickest since when? All time. Cos Parra beat Penrith by 60 in round one 2002 for eg and I bet there have been loads of 50 pointers in round one over the years

Cowboys in 2005 conceded 50 twice that year as well and made the GF.

Not sure if anyone else had other then Cowboys 2005, Roosters 2010 & Souths 2021 has made the GF after conceding 50.

Ironically history shows you are more chance of making the GF and losing after conceding 50 points twice in a season then just once.
