The last 30 years of repeat spoons:With the Eels sounding out their fierce war cries as another desperate contender for the wooden spoon, just wondering how frequent it is for a club to win it back to back.

Magpies 83-84, 87-88, 98-99
Seagulls 91-93
Crushers 96-97
Souths 03-04
And lets not forget the mighty achievent of 6 in a row by the Eels between 56 and 61.
Right you are. I didn't scroll that far down, didn't think teams with 3 spoons all up would have 2 in a row.Illawarra won spoons in 1985-86.
And the team infront of you had about 30 seasons more than you. Imagine if the Eels were around since 1908. So many spoons.Parramatta have the 2nd most spoons in rugby league history, amazing that we have 15k members this year

Most of us thought that making 8th spot would be a miracle.
Newcastle lost to the sharks 49-30 in 2001. Lucky Rogers missed three attempts at goal that day. :sarcasm:
Can you believe the Eels beat a team by 70 just a few years ago.
