he was a car crash out there. Nothing went right for him, his kicking game was ordinary, and the pass at the end sealed his night. I still think barrett was as crap as he was but who cares. Lets hope he picks himself up dusts himself off and fires up for the weekend.

I say him hobbling around for a moment midway thru the second half and felt a bit uneasy but he seemed okay at the end of the match, did he come thru unscathed???

Already the blowhards on morning tele are calling for his head, i say have his head if you want, sharks will be better off.

Sorry to say but Kimmorely was pathetic in all facets of his game and looks totally out of his depth:

His kicking was simply attrocious
Was a speed bump in defence and fell off that many tackles it wasn't funny
Went missing in the second half (funny enough that's when NSW actually played some ok footy)
and is still the undisputed King of throwing intercepts.

Problem is, I don't think Gower or Orford would be any better.

Also the NSW bench apart from Wing were ineffective and our front row Bailey and Ryles were crap.

NSW made 404 tackles.
They missed 40. 10% is about the target for MT so they went well with the enormous count.
The reason they did nothing in attack was because the 100 tackles more they did than Queensland was a direct result of Noddys poor kicking game in the first 20 minutes.
Compare it to Lockys brilliant natural kicking game which had real distance, air time & height. NSW running off their line, and tackling 2-1 for the first 20.
Cant believe they came back.

His 9 missed tackles wont hold him in good stead either.
Locky missed 10, but he was brilliant in all other facets.

Well, Noddy did have a bad attacking game, his defence was outstanding.

The people who should be questioned are the ones who picked 6 backrowers.

barrett at half and anasta at 5/8 may well be the combination in game 2 , it was clearly evident from the kick off last night that brett kimmorley doesnt enjoy the confidence of his coach.

it will be very interesting to see how things pan out in the next few weeks.

I think Bailey and Ryles should both be dumped as they had nothing to offer in the first half and give Clinton, Kite and Stevens a shot! Pity O'Meley isn't fit, I'd have him there as first prop selected.

Ryles was terrible and I admit Bailey was better in the second half but the damage had already been done. I still think Bailey got absolutely monstered by the QLDers.

They probably won't drop them because of past performances for the blues, but they need another big unit on the bench.

That is my point, Ryles did not play well and that left Bailey as the only prop. He tried hard , but was outnumbered everytime.
Terrible selections on the Bench, two more bopper required.
