top display in melbourne tonight.

showed us the difference in class between the best half in the game and the best of the rest.

how was his hit on chan coming off their line in the last few minutes ?

also =- we're still seeing some floating ballon passes out of dummy half. getting better but it's no good scrambling for aquick play the ball then lofting a floater out of dummy half

Brett KIMMORLEY is much maligned by other teams supporters but is clearly the most consistent performer each week. Every time he plays a major game he is close to man of the match. Every time he plays a half back rival who has been talked up by the media he totally dominates them. This year he has made Gower, Sherwin and Orford look silly. Time after time he has made Johns look second rate yet he never gets the accolades he deserves. I can't figure it out but his results are unquestionable. He is simply outstanding every week and I certainly can't remember a game when he hasn't put in for Cronulla.

Orford had nothing tonight. Noddy was obviously keen to show why he is the incumbent Kangaroo half

No doubt he is the best in the game along side Lockyer now that Johns injuries have decimated his career.

I just have a feeling that sticky will want Gower for SOO.

Suits me if that is the case. Particularly for game 1 when the Sharks play Penrith. Whoever doesn't gets the half-back gig will almost certainly lead their team to victory in that game.

Ya know pogo could try ADDING to the debate rather than just sniping all the time.

Ohhhh wait!!!!! ADDING would require insight, understanding, capacity to logically and rationally put thoughts down.

Sorry, now I undertand why you post the way you do - ya got no clue.

Sad

and in answer to the thread - best 1/2 in the game at the moment and when you consider that Orford, gower et al are no slouches that is a fair sort of wrap!

He was kicking the ball like you would hope to play a 9 iron.

How does he get it to stop like that ?

With the small in goals he did bloody well.

Shhh... don't let Reefy see this post. He thinks he's a second rate nuffy!

I have to agree, week in and week out, he IS our most CONSISTANT performer. His kicking game tonight was fantastic, pin point and always had the Storm scrambling to cover up.

I honestly think that part of it (his non-recognition as a footballing demi-god) was his association with he who shall not be named - nobody likes the teacher's pet. I think that now that he has come out of CAs shadow he is starting to get a lot more wraps - deservedly
