While i am all for the Broncos coping it deluxe in all possible ways, i find it very odd that the rules say they CAN go to a restaurant or cafe but they cannot go to a pub ... what is the f**king difference in terms of potential to get covid? Especially in queensland
It's Queensland mate. The pubs are all full of drunks who don't give a f**k about social distancing.

A few weeks ago the media latched on to Des the evil genius and how Manly were the smokies, best drilled and punching above their weight. Now they have dropped them in the harbour with concrete shoes and latched on to the bunnies after beating Broncos, Cows by a field goal 31-30 and Manly whose defence was like paper.

Argh. Here we go again.

Are the Eels genuine contenders?
Generally, if a team manages to hold the Storm to zero points, they would instantly become premiership favourites

However, Parramatta seemed to struggle against a Storm outfit without Cam Smith, Cam Munster and Jesse Bromwich amongst a host of stars.

The Eels have beat some very good teams throughout the season, most notably the Panthers and Raiders.

Despite this, Brad Arthur's men have struggled over the past month, scrapping home against the Sharks and Bulldogs before they fell to the Dragons last week.

In the past seven weeks, they have scored over 20 points just once, coming against the Tigers in round nine.

After their dominant victory over the Sea Eagles, the high-scoring Rabbioths looms as a real danger game for the Eels and an indicator of where they lie heading into the finals.

Jeebus, who wrote that shit?

“The Eels have beat some very good teams.”
“Scrapping home.”
“Rabbioths.”

Every game can be lost so every game is a “danger” game.

non eels footy stuff thread mate...;)

tbh I'm so glad all the talk about winning the comp has been for a good part Storm, Roosters, Penrith, Manly and now Souths. Absolutely delighted focus is elsewhere

Might shift if we have Rabbit stew on Thursday though
Well I if I responded to Gronk’s post in a different thread it would’ve made as much sense as:
However, Parramatta seemed to struggle against a Storm outfit without Cam Smith, Cam Munster and Jesse Bromwich amongst a host of stars.
Did someone get paid for this? It should’ve either stopped at “Bromwich” or need further information at the end. Were #CAM666, Munster & Jromwich out because they were amongst a host of stars, or were the Scum a host of stars, without those 3, or did the Scum have a host of stars MISSING including those 3?

I like to think it was the first one and they were sitting around with Pete Smith playing Sale of the Century

The South Sydney Rabbi Oaths are also the moneybags team of the NSW Inter-Denomination Rugby League comp

I might be lying, like Brad Arthur and Craig Bellamy when they say they disagree with players staying down to win penalties.

I think they are half telling the truth.
They only disagree with it when it’s the other team staying down to win penalties.

I do think you’re lying your arse off though. No penalty for you but.
