Not sure why people still don't get it.
Ticketek progressively release bays or areas of seats and hold back other areas that are more expensive to sell later when fans get desperate. It's their process. Gone are the days when a particular match is released for sale in total and it's a first in best dressed scenario.

We were told yesterday morning that there were only 600 seats left for the Dragons game. Virtually a sellout apparently. Yes, there was a bit of rain around, but eventual crowd was 5000 under capacity with large areas of unsold seats? Did that many people not decide to go?

There have been so many instances for so many sporting events in different stadiums in the past when, if you log on early to try and buy great tickets in good spots, it comes up as "Allocation Exhausted", Yet weeks later, these same seats are released for sale. It's a f**king scam, and it seems to be supported by all major sporting clubs and organisations.

If anyone wants to go to a sporting event, just get tickets now, take what you get and be happy you are there.

I bought tickets for the Wanderers vs Leeds United match about 3 months ago when they went on sale. My choice of available seating options was limited, so I chose the best I could that was "available" at the time.
Well what do you know? Better seats are available now that were classified as allocation exhausted back then. It's a f**king scam that Ticketek have been getting away with for years now.
Thanks for the explanation, Suity. However, I'm not one to be f**ked around by marketing gurus and their ilk. I looked up the game on the NRL website then went to buy tickets via the link. I got an image of the stadium and available seating. It pretty much told me that seating was limited for more than 1 person in my preferred seating area, though seating was still available in the corners or end sections for more than one. If Tiketek want to hold back seating when they could offer it up front (at a premium) then that's their loss when it comes to fans wanting to buy in early. I'm still going to run the current arrangements by my son, he can decide whether we go or watch it at his place.

To be honest mate, you won’t be disappointed in the Northern or Southern stands. Noise and I sit in the Northern stand (usually bay 226 or 227) and the view is still outstanding.

No doubt. I'm more concerned that seats can't be bought until some guru in charge decides that they can be. I'm willing to pay ahead for better seats, and pay more to secure said seats. If they can't offer me that service then I'll just have to be content with watching it on TV. And they want more people to go to the game....

Well I'll be f**ked. I just do not get it. What is the advantage of not selling the more expensive seats to people like yourself who want the good seat and then let people who are desperate nuy the cheaper seats cause that is all that is left?
If anything having the money up first and earlier buy selling the better and more expensive seats seems smarter.
Or are you talking about same ticketed area and prices but just better bats?

I’d like to think I wouldn’t have used the word “da”. That does sound annoying but hardly inappropriate. I don’t even see anything vulgar in it.

Royal baby blah blah. Merkin said that they live in Frogmore Cottage. Hmmm that sounds quaint. Yeah, nah.
