Who are these people you read about Av?

The Trump campaign (and US Republican party in general) are a train wreck.

I can't recall an election coverage in recent or distant memory where the media have been been so completely biased and skewed against the runner for one of the 2 major parties in contention. On the surface it's kind of comical. But beyond that, it's bizarre and very curious. Gone are the days when news outlets reported and presented policy and public debate evenly and left it up to Joe Sixpack and Eddie Punchclock to digest and make up their own minds. The overwhelming majority of coverage this time around has basically said "Trump is a Maniac, if you don't vote for Clinton you're a negligent, ignorant fool".

I vaguely recall there being a subtle romanticism and slightly favourable portrait painted of Obama when he was running first time around. But that is light years away from the completely over the top pro-Clinton/anti-Trump stuff we're seeing now.

I couldn't give a tinker's cuss who wins. As usual, the reality of what happens if Trump was to get in to office will be somewhere in between the complete and utter world catastrophe the media and like-minded sycophants would have us believe will unfold, and the "happy happy joy joy" paradise the same people promise will eventuate if Hillary Clinton gets in... More often than not, it's the people behind the "leaders" that dictate what happens next, not the 2 people whose names appear on the ballot paper.

I concur with that incorrect assessment too

I really do ... i hope we never go down a path of a publicly elected head - we'd end up with f**kin cameron smith as president or something .... the US election has become more about the SNL debate skits - the debates are genuinely just for public amusement

Or maybe the yanks will learn that their country is already a circus, and that nominating clowns for POTUS won't ever end well.

We already have gone down that path. The last few elections in Australia have been popularity contests decided by vacuous ninnies.

The US have taken it to a new level though.

Ruth and late husband, Elli, purchased the land back in 1961 for around $2400.

They acquired additional land to the rear and side of their home over the years.
Reckon Elli's rolling in his grave going " why the f**k did you think we bought up the land?"

“When everybody sells I will be very lonely, I will be sitting here by myself

No you won't. You'll have about 10,000 families living in apartments on your street
