Seriously though, the major threat Trump poses to Australia is through China. It's far from a certainty, but if he does what he is threatening to do, and demand for Chinese exports tanks, where do you think our exports go (minerals>>>China, food>>>China, foreign student income>>>>China.......our three major exports).

Oh, my major worry was that I am going to the UK at the end of the month, and I could see a fair that Trump would win and it would know a few cents of the value of the Aus Dollar. So I prepaid a crapload of stuff over the weekend. Quite happy I did now.

Happened to catch about 2 minutes of ABC radio 702 this evening and Christine Anu described hearing a colleague, and seemingly a soon first time father to be, saying this afternoon that he could not believe that his newborn would enter a world where "someone like Trump is the president of America"....
