I see what you did there. :p

My point really is that whilst Mark Taylor's nickname was Tubby, it would be out of line jeering at him every day about his weight, cracking jokes as he walked past towards the showers. Leaving packets of Tim Tams in his locker. Ordering him a Mansier "The Bro". After a while it becomes harassment and worse if it is coming from a place of racism.
Is that what happened with this guy? ..... I honestly haven't read all details ..... they went far beyound calling him chimp? (I would assume the odd monkey noise would go with it .... if you told people your nickname was fart, they'd probably make fart noises)

I think that many of us have taken an allegation of how a nickname came about as fact. We don't know if it was given to him and he reluctantly went along to so as not to rock the boat. There could be many reasons.

"Yet Lumumba's experiences have been corroborated by six of his teammates. Andrew Krakouer, Leon Davis, Chris Dawes, Chris Egan, Brent Macaffer and Shae McNamara have all registered public support."

I don't think it's wise to cast judgement from afar unless you were there or indeed, walked a mile in his shoes.

I see many on social media tossing out pragmatic tough-guy lines about this and that. Pretty bone headed if you ask me.

It’s either the abc or Twitter with you.

I still think the embellishment beyond the word ‘tubby’ is a contestable analogy when it comes to old mate at Collingwood. My guess is that their culture was shit, but not disproportionately shit compared to other clubs. I think he’s egging the puddings slightly.

That’s not how the world works. If merkins are going to accuse people of something that we all agree is hideous then it is fair and reasonable to request evidence.

Nice legs on this Tomljanovic. She's going alright too.
You’re right. Damn! That leg!
