It was a but shore breaky this morning. Is that what pipeline usually looks like ? The ladies were getting chundered.

Pipe has 3 reefs, yesterday the 1st was too big so they started surfing the second and the first was closing out and starting to break on the second which is further out. When its this big the first is like a shore break.

Its so rare to get those conditions for a contest.

Its not as big today and unfortunate for the women as they dont get the chance to practice out there as they get overawed by the men in the free sessions. There was an article by Tyler Wright that explained it all, the Hawiian women get more chances to practice as they live there but the overseas competitors only get a week or so to practice and its a unique wave so they really have a disadvantage, especially when its this big.

Tyler won the contest there about 2 years ago so they are quite capable of beating the Hawaiians but it wasn't this big.

No. I know plenty of good coffee. Best is an old Italian guy in Haberfield. He does a very good coffee.
Macca's or Gloria's is to hit and miss and very expensive. Ill pay $3.50-$4 for a large coffee. I'm not paying more then that. And it has to be good.
