When you get to Byron there is a Hare Krisna's take away in Lawson St, opposite the supermarket. Its damn fine food.

oh yeh, Fishheads has stood the test of time, alot of restaurants come and go but Fisheads has been there for as long as I can remember.

I've had breakfast there while watching whales frollick in the bay. Its OK if you dont mind the smell of a bit of weed wafting through the outdoor dining area.

I always found the quality of food in Byron average at best . Many places will rely on high turn over of tourists and they can slap out quick meals and charge premium for them.

HJ = Garbage - Of course I'm talking about hungry jacks.

The only take away I find interesting is oportos and I do get the rush for the dirty bird now and then.

@ Port Macquarie staying overnight on our way to our annual trip to Byron Bay. With family and friends. Great times. However probably had the worst coffee in history earlier today at Port Mac. This area is also full of bogan westiy can eaters but is nice enough for an overnight stay.

Any suggestions for breakfast on our way to Byron?
