I just want to point out that I am not advocating banning it, those are just my observations about females having to wear it.

I think religion should ban it before any legislation ever needs to........

I think history will show that it is not religion that forces women to wear buqas, stops females becoming priests, arranged marriages, the gender pay gap or to the extreme, female genitalia mutilation. It is the selfish authoritarian domination over women by men.

Exactly my point above. The choice of covering the face or wearing black is not in the Quoran (sp) I believe. It's just a bunch of arsehole males who decide it because they can - then throw in the threat of death if women do not obey. The pricks at the taliban also ban women from having an education. So then why the opposition to males or in this case a female not being arseholes?

I had quite a few drinks in Morpeth Arms pub in Pimlico, London.
Was the site of the old Millbank Prison. The cells are still underneath the pub. They say that's where the word 'Pom" comes from.

Pretty nice pub it is. Directly across from MI6. I'm sure I shared a few pints with some actual spies.

Who complained? How is it even slightly offensive? Surely taking it down is a step backwards for this country? This is something ISIS would be salivating over, now there's some ammunition to lure those disassociated youths into blowing themselves up due to how racist we are......
