My response will be that I am pleased that he found a way to check his ego at the door and learned how to keep his mouth shut when previously he would act like a triggered 12yo girl.

A successful Trump will simply keep the USA on the same trajectory as it is on the moment. Their economic growth is on the steady rise since the GFC and their unemployment is at a record low 4.7% (I think I heard last night).

So my question for you is how do you measure success ? If you heard his speech last night a casual observer would think that the USA is a basket case. However crime is down and jobs and growth are up.

It wasn't my intention to watch it. I woke up at 4am and was wide awake so I turned the TV on and there he was. His speech was like all of his campaign speeches about making America Great Again. He didn't say how he was going to create jobs or eliminate crime, poverty and ISIS (he actually said radical Islam) , he just said that he will do it starting Monday. Sounds like a plan.
