How often do you hit the waves, so to speak. I used to love Ballina, Byron and Yamba as far as enjoying the surf. I never learned how to surf a wave on a board. That's just the way it goes....lol

not as much in winter as it's just not as inviting but can't get enough over the warmer months

some days it's just good to be out there with the sun on your back, I used to surf Snapper (superbank) a lot fighting about 100 groms and hotshots for each wave but now it's mostly Kingscliff where most of the locals are happy to chat while you're out there
