All that ever was was another example of the left's moral hijacking, in a similar vein to how they have now hijacked the morality of equality to push a niche issue while continuing to marginalise consenting polygamous adults.

It was just a convenient weapon for them to spit at authority (religion) through the self-anointed falsity of intellectual (and thus moral) superiority. The real purpose of embracing science was to disavow any other moral authority and thus create a cover for their degeneracy.

This is clearly illustrated by how the left has now either warped and mutilated science (more than two genders!!!) or discarded it entiely (muh feelings are most important!!!).
