At some point governments will step in. The Chinese government wont allow a currecny they have no control over. Once this happens bitcoin will be like the emperor and his clothes.....

And i reckon the value will drop faster then can sell

All any authority is going to (or probably already has) is invest in the virtual currencies as well, but like gold if you stockpile it too long the market can dip
