Erin has to prove that calling her a racist is an untruth and it damaged her reputation.

Is that really where the burden of proof lies? How does one prove they're not something? Does she need to trot out her black friends?
She should have thought of that before she launched into mind blowing expensive litigation.

A few problems with this:

* The Beatles broke up 10 years before Lennon was shot.
* They were already writing patchy music as solo artists.
* McCartney and Lennon hated each and were bagging each other in their songs.

So assuming he survives the shooting he still has to:

* Properly kiss and make up with McCartney.
* Rediscover his talent. After all, he'd just written the vacuous Double Fantasy album a few months earlier.

Perhaps it could work as a film but I'm not really convinced.
Why aren’t Beatles songs on the radio that much? Is it a rights issue ?

Yep... Part of the reason why they never featured in any Hottest 100's (in the early days when it used to be a hottest 100 of all time, not just a calendar year) or any similar countdowns on music TV channels. No f**ker could get the rights to play the songs. Didn't Michael Jackson buy the rights? Sure it was him...dunno who's in control of them now though....

Some dude falling of his bike and all the lights going out and the Beatles get wiped from History......

Great plot.

I believe they transferred back to McCartney in the last year or two

The problem is. Nobody would dig the Beatles sound nowdays. Teens aren't into this type of music. So as great as the song writing is I just can not see it becoming popular. And all the old people would still be listening to the shit they did growing up. The music would just be lost in time if they didn't exist at the time they did.

I had a far better Idea for a Beatles movie. Lennon attempted shooting doesn't kill him. And how the Beatles music continually evolves thru the years via grunge eras etc and they become influential politically.
That folkesy pop style always swings back around, at least every decade. The problem with the plot is that no singer as ugly as that guy gets to be mainstream famous these days. At least they can still be comedians I guess.
