We have an Airbnb on our street and it can get f**ked. One weekend it had a gang of blokes who must’ve been celebrating their asylum visas getting approved. When they got back from partying in town they brought some girls with them, a rival gang turned up, and there was a running battle in the street. There’s at least half a dozen families with children living here. We didn’t ask to live near a f**king hotel.

I feel like some people are creative and they need creative jobs so they don't become mentally ill.
I do a lot of Automation installs. Forklift drivers are going to be less and less. So are pick packers.

It was a peanut comment to begin with.
For starters Automation is looked at the wrong way. Rather then losing all production due to heavy labour costs, machines can reduce costs which mean production remain viable locally. Along with less back breaking jobs / Injuries which is also a cost factor.
And factories still need workers regardless how automated they become. It then becomes a question of shipping costs + cheaper labour vs local production.

Automation should be compared to a wheel. That was the beginning really.

As far as music goes it is neglected. If we continue to then we'll get less artists and less quality music. People need to make money to live and good music takes a lot of time and energy. It isn't something that can be done in spare time.

Automation has been going on for a very long time, but as you say it also creates new jobs elsewhere, and entire new industries.

Their gripe is that AI is simply stealing their shit and not paying for it. It's not even a valid comparison.
