And another thing—the flip strategy has been used in the stock market since forever. It’s just called shorting a stock, you f**king moron.

The only f**king morons here are the ones that think that they can invest in a market that sounds easy to make money. They KNOW that it’s not easy to do make money buying real shares on the ASX, but for some reason have been convinced that it is easy if you buy cryptocurrencies.

Facts are that crypo merkins driving lambos are living the life because nerds living in their mum’s basement lost theirs. I mean we all know the nature of zero-sum markets, where significant wealth acculation comes at someone else’s expense. The point with these types of speculative investments is that they are as easy to use as your SportsBet or TAB app. So why not eh.

All wrong. The top 10 cryptos aren’t even speculative anymore. Maybe even top 20.

Thank f**k for that. Not sure I could deal with another 8 years of BA.
How are you Gaz? I trust all is good. We haven’t exchanged pleasantries in a while. I have been too busy big noting. I’m even considering having some plastic surgery to remove my smile.

All good mate. Sweating my ball bag off in Cairns at the moment. It's about this time of the year that I start looking at seek and realestate.com.au.

So that means we should all take notice of your long winded left wing rants supporting your green renewable etc ideologies , ummm not so sure.
Wow, someone who doesn't yet see benefits in green renewable energies...?

I guess they still exist... and that someone always has to be last out of a once crowded room. Just don't forget to turn out the light when you do eventually follow ;)

And they can’t change the agenda anymore. Free speech has returned and Elon owns his favourite medium of communication.

Write back when they are sufficient to run the energy grid without spending zillions on the grid , not hiding that as an off budget item..

Of course I want renewables if that s achievable to run base load generation at night and on dull days and no wind, even the cult like following know that, make a sensible transition using clean coal, gas and that horrid stuff the rest of the world uses to bring emissions down and have reliable power - quietly , nuclear.

Batteries dont cut and won’t for a fair while, , need to ensure we have dispatchable power when needed, just don’t go headlong into renewables as Germany, California, Spain , and the UK ( they are mothballing North Sea oil and gas , what ) have done and moved away for the time being. We could end up burning trees to save the planet like Germany.

More than happy with renewables as part of the mix, when we have idiot Bowen demonising even gas, it’s crazy. Manufacturing could we’ll head completely offshore to China, Indonesia, India etc who for some reason aren’t included as developed countries so escape the hysteria.

Until there is realisation from Labor that they need to ensure base load power, we will watch our standard of living declines and manufacturing jobs disappear.

Understand you will take issue with this, but opinion is swaying to a sensible debate not world ending stuff , just ensure we can survive until 100% renewables are a real thing.

Yes I do have solar panels and they do a reasonable job, but I’m realistic to see they are part of the supply chain.

They do better than reasonable, but I'm sure you know that.
Of course, just not the 100% answer, had to replace the panels I put up originally as they were failing and after a hail storm and some time one actually finally burnt through. So they were taken down and will be dumped , can’t be recycled so into the waste.

My point was , I’m not againot renewables but make sure they are part of the answer until we can cover base load power 24/7. No expectation of the green/left accepting this until like Calif we have scheduled brown outs and have to watch the rest of the Asian economies swallow our manufacturing up as they add all forms of generation, not purely renewables. Until we accept Bowen is a complete idiot , we will head down a slippery slope.

Sorry, didn't get to the bottom of all that.

But my point was that renewable energy isn't an "either or" option. Just embrace it, alongside the exhaustible dinosaur fuels, and all the issues you have concerns with will gradually get sorted out.
