Not sure how it’s Albo’s fault that a music festival can’t sell tickets because no one wants to go. What’s he supposed to do?
Dutton will bring back music festivals.
Tones.Holden should of also been helped to stay.
Who was running the country when they let that fold?
Tones.
Tony Abbott demands Holden makes decision on future, rules out any more funding
Prime Minister Tony Abbott has demanded Holden decide if they want to stay in Australia or leave, saying they owe it to their workforce to decide whether they are staying or going.www.smh.com.au
If I was the PM, I’d insist it be resurrected.Ok he is the worse ever in my eyes then. This should never of happened. Holden had to remain open.

Many factors at play on this one. GM in America pulling the strings, union demands at the plant in Adelaide and Holden not reading the room as far as what they perceived the general public wanted. Commodores and Cruzes rolling off the line weren't what the average Aussie wanted any more. The boganmobile (Commodore) wasn't selling in great numbers and when Holden decided to import their small car and SUV range from Daewoo and shove a Holden badge on them the writing was on the wall. For the rusted on Holden merkin the ZB imported Commodore from Europe was the final nail. While I'm a Holden fan through and through I think the right call was made. Simply, OZ isn't up to manufacturing compared to other nations any longer, and that goes for a ton of other manufacturers that have also fallen by the wayside.Ok he is the worse ever in my eyes then. This should never of happened. Holden had to remain open.

I've toured the Holden plant in Adelaide twice. Also spent a day at their Lang Lang proving grounds. They were good at what they did until around the mid 2000's. After that the slide was inevitable. What a lot of merkins don't realise is that when Toyota and then Ford pulled out of local manufacturing it wasn't viable for local, and to a lesser extent overseas parts suppliers to make many parts that goes into making a car. A lot of those places were supplying parts to all three manufacturers at one point.Basically sums it up.
Australia's manufacturing is going down the gurgler. There's no point in blaming any one PM for what has happened in the past. The whole country is going down the shitter no matter who is in charge.
Can anyone tell me why we import Natural Gas, when we have the 2nd largest natural reserves of the product in the world?
Why do we export so much Iron Ore that is then used for the production of steel, and then we import this steel back?
There is so much wrong with this country and the way we go about things.

Coincidentally, mega YouTube guy Tavarish imports a 6L bush sports car and is like where have you been all my life. Sadly yanks will be googling this shit only to find that it’s gone the way of the dodo. It’s an absolute disgrace that Holden and Ford died in this country. I know there are many factors for it. When I see our politicians driving around in BMW’s it saddens me.
Basically sums it up.
