I was talking about it raining, and the statements that I twofold both spoken again. Completely agree that flood abatement had taken place .

Surf was 4.7m at Coogee this morning. Too big for you ?

Try Balmoral in the harbour then....

Worst traffic conditions ever. Turned back home. Literally not worth making the trek to Sydney.

If my CD player in the car wav woukd I need to convert the songs into wav files?

Also , can I get a head set for the car which plays songs from usbs instead, and if so. How much ?

Not sure about the statute law on driving with headphones on?

Getting your wav files (much bigger file size) converted to mp3 (much smaller file size) and then moved on to your usb mem stick or card that plugs into your mobile phone and notebook/pc is the way to go.
Then use your mobile phone or go to Dick Smith, etc, and suss out what you can buy for your car that gets power from the cigarette lighter and plugs into your cars stereo system for audio playback. Otherwise just use the cigarette lighter for power and headphones for audio playback. Gronk's bluetooth suggestion is excellent.

We had a massive rain fall around 1984 when living in North Rose Bay. The intense rainwater coming down the hills of North Bondi Heights, Dover Heights & North Rose Bay finally collected along Old South Head Road and from the intersection of Newcastle Street & OSH Rd, the flood of water built up along Newcastle Street in-between the Australian Golf Course and the homes on the east side.

The fast massive build up of water turned into a wave flowing down Newcastle Street and reached something like 4 to 6 feet in height (possibly higher) by the time it hit New South Head Road Rose Bay and smashed through 6 or so shops on the north side pushing everything collected into the Bay.

From Rose Bay North near Vaucluse I went down the hills to witness cars floating along New South Head Road. One one was a Rolls Royce with an elderly woman hanging out the window screaming out "my jewellery, "my jewellery",:crazy: - No concern for her life, just the safety of her expensive jewellery. Should have helped her and got rich quick.

Parts of Dover Heights/Rose Bay North were severely damaged by the intense torrent of rain water. Huge excavation sites and deep channels appeared.

Rose Bay is flooded now in fact. Near the ferry wharf.

Sadly, 3 confirmed deaths so far - in Dungog. They had 312 mm's rain in the 24 hrs to 9 am this morning.
Large tree just came down 2 doors up from here. Straight through their side fence and on top of the house.

Why do politicians stack the background with nuffies every time they got something to say ?
