f**k off, merkin. I didn’t know what you meant, because you’re such a dumb merkin that I assumed you were wrong, as you so often are. You also could’ve just not been a dishonest scumbag and given the above explanation instead of lying in your earlier post.
I had just been telling you why I thought (along with the club) Harper was good enough for the top 30. Why the f**k would I then say he wasn't in the top 30? I didn't lie about anything. I said he was in the top 17, which should've been obvious given your claim that he was top 17 because he started in round one.

You’re such a dumb merkin who is so consistently incoherent in his views that the idea you would simultaneously say that the club was right to hire him, but also he was not in our top 30, is entirely in keeping with your ordinary stupidity. Anyway, if you don’t want to be misunderstood, say what you f**king mean, you cretin.

If I’m misunderstood it’s due to bad faith readings by the likes of yourself, where even editing a typo is met with accusations of lying. You do this to cope with having your shit opinions challenged.

No, it’s because you’re a dumb merkin with a history of exceptionally shit opinions and spurious justifications for said opinions. And you’re a liar.

By the way, the opinion underlying this exchange is that Morgan Harper was worth a roster space last year - he wasn’t, and that’s borne out by the fact that he was dogshit before he came to us, he was atrocious when he played for us, and no club (including ours) has seen him worthy for a roster space after us. You’re a vegetable for thinking otherwise.

No you are.

You'll find Manly had him on the books for four years before we signed him, as a backup. In 2021 Hasler picked him for a full season in the NRL and they won 17 games and made the preliminary final. He turned 23 that year. He was definitely worth a chance in 2024 and we had plenty of top 30 spots available and nobody else to use them on.

If he doesn't play another game in the NRL, if he's washed up at 26, it's because he didn't take advantage of the one year opportunity we gave him. But he just played in an NRL trial, so Bellamy must think he is worth a shot. It hasn't taken a top 30 spot to get him to the Storm because he doesn't have a Super League offer. Now tell me I'm lying.

Yeah i hope he plays well.

I want him playing halfback for Manly in round 12 when we play them at Commbank week before Origin 1 when DCE will be missing from that match.

I want to see a Arthur/Brooks combo live
It looks like he did and out played pommy Lewis Dodd.

Jake’s stats were 1 TA | 2 TB | 2 LBAs | 489 km

Did anyone watch ?

He went pretty well, made a few errors / took the wrong option on occasion but was generally solid. I thought Dodd was underwhelming, but of course it is only trial footy.

Not sure about Lewis Dodd

When was the last English half that came from the super league and was a success in the NRL.

George Williams was okay but only lasted 18 months and was out the door.

Chris Thorman was an a-grade disaster 20 years ago.

Its generally only the English forwards who generally come out here and make it a success.
