Sounds a great relationship between the clubs lol. I guess this is one of the problems of not having a proper reserve grade and a proper second division separate from each other.

Perth will need an NRL club to link up with in 2020 when we plan to enter NSW cup.

Lol North Sydney are dumb.

If you look at the team they turned out to play on the weekend, it had 8 Souths contracted players in it. Including Robbie Farah who's being paid about $500k a year to play reserve grade.

So they'll lose eight players to sign one (and lets face it, Carney isn't half the player he used to be) and they're saying that this will make them a more competitive team... How? If we split with them now, they will guarantee themselves the spoon.

If you split them now where is Robbie going to play reserve grade? It would likely be as detrimental to souths as it would norths for this season anyway.

Man, wherever Robbie goes it just seems to turn to shit. I’m not saying he’s at fault but the last few years have been a massive fall from grace

Not sure. If the relationship falls over this year then we will come to an arrangement with another ISP team or even a QLD cup side.

My feeling is that sanity will prevail and that Souths and Norths will agree to hold it together until the end of the season and then seek a new arrangement for 2019.

In fairness we'd already made a decision to split with Norths and run our own reserve grade side again from 2020 onwards. Richo mentioned this quite some time back now and so I assume there's been work being done in the background to facilitate this split down the track anyway.

I guess Norths just couldn't wait those extra couple of years.

I don’t see why this would end the relationship. Souths are under zero obligation to see him go through to first grade but it’s a decent thing to have in your back pocket if disaster strikes all current and backup halves
I would never have wanted that dick playing for us!

Bad publicity and bad for team culture.

Goon on the Bunnies for the doing the right thing.

We don't need that waste of time having an affect on our young lads!
