The Avalanches album, Since I Left You, is one of my favourite albums, and it is made up entirely of samples. Thousands of them. One song, Frontier Psychiatrist, contains over 500 sound samples. The album is fantastic, they moulded all these disparate samples into a flowing natural thread of music, and a chillout album second to none.
