WTF did he think he was doing with his constant backchat

He's had a problem with that rubbish for a few seasons now

Good to see him have a reasonable game but someone needs to tell him to pipe down

I think it was the frustration SS haveing to deal with a ref who was way below first grade standard

Yeah, I though it was a bit out of character to backchat the ref, especially after the tribulations of last year against Parra

Had a blinder in attack. You could tell Bird was going in a mile away.

But f**k he has to learn to shut up. He gets away with a lot, I love the bloke but he needs someone to grab him and calm him down. Once he goes he goes for good

Peachey should have learned his lesson last year with Hayne

No excuses this time

BTW atrocious camera work Fox, we missed the whole debacle off the short kick off at the end there and had no idea what the penalty was for.

totally agree about the replays.......

i thought peach was arguing about the kick off....it was my impression (and i amy be wrong) that he claimed the canterbury players touched the ball inside the 10mtres.....and the ref said no only you can't touch it....
if this was the case.the ref is wrong, and peach was well within his rights to argue...that would have been our ball!!!

anyone at the game see the incident...id love to know.

i know peach shouldnt argue, but he was obviously frustrated..and i thought tonight he showed a lot more involvement and creativity...barring the unlucky grubber incident

twice i thought he provided linebreaking balls to runners.....who dropped them.

Re: the lack of replays - I didn't really see why Peach got sent - just heard Archer send him and then stick his hands in the air for ten - no replay - I assume it was a professional foul - is this correct??

It appeared that Peach may have tripped up the dummy half, while lying inthe play the ball....so yes pref foul......however I would have liked to see the reply..becasue you can't just disappear and they had played the ball very quickly...and lets face it, according to archer you only have to take a dive and that warrents a penalty..

Fox coverage was f##ked but it appeared the dogs touched the ball inside the 10 metres which means it should have been a penalty to the Sharks - Archer was on their side all night and whilst Peach should no better than to argue after a openalty is given he is only human and must have been extremely frustrated with the prick.

The penalty was for taking out the man in the air but Peachey was going for the ball and accidently collided with Patten and sent him sprawling into touch with the ball. Peachey was questioning that decision and Archer knew he had f**ked so he didn't want to hear it and marched him. The sin bin was a joke, he was in the ruck but it didn't look intentional, Archer had run out of patience by that stage though.

Peachey needs to shut up. Noddy's the captain and we have enough problems with the ref's perceptionof how we play and what we say to them anyway. Anyone read Big League or RLW where Harrigan had counted Bailey as one his top 5 back chatters? Throughh into that mix peach and damn we aint ever gone win the penalty counts.
