Notes about the ground configuration tonight...

A few people have been asking this week what the ground capacity is at the showgrounds. I have heard people say on the radio this week that the bulldogs officials are going to keep it to 20 thousand. if memory serves me correctly, debbie spillane also mentioned that this week in 'dogbites' (must read bulldogs email hehe)
Well, i recovered a letter i got from the club last year when they made the move to the showgrounds. They said the ground has the following configurations:
12,000 Reserved seats
6,000 Grassed area
4,000 General admission (the temporary seats)
I dont know how they could fit 6,000 into the grassed area, but still, if this is correct then 22,000 can fit into the ground. I doubt the bulldogs will let 6,000 in there, so i think a crowd of closer to 20,000 is more likely. I tried to attach a picture of the ground so that ppl going could see where they are going to sit but my freaking scanner is having a multitude of kittens....oh well
Anyways, enjoy the game 2night, it will be a ripper. I am absolutely filthy that i am unable to be at the game or even watch it on ch9...Grrrrrrr
MFC.

They could have let a few hundred more on to the hills, but I think not over crowding it is a better way to go.
