Notes: Orton and Batista

A few points on both that have come to me since their increased exposure on TV

Batista:

- His entrence is shit, music is good but his movement and actions are poor IMO. His flex thing is more queer eye than straight guy.

- His promos are awesome! Either he has got real good real quick or the WWE didnt give him enough to work with early on. His little tibits with HHH tonight were awesome. You could feel the tension, loved it when he looked HHH in the eyes and said "now your starting to piss me off"

- Ive never EVER seen a heel charactor that over with the crowd, he got the loudest pop of the night. I expect a face turn at Revolutions and want to see it but id be dissppointed aswell, it is far to obvious. I hope for a next Raw or something a little less predictable.


Orton:

- HE CANT PROMO!! He is tragic, his mic work is shockingly bad for a main eventer.

- Get him back to heel, he is smug and arogent, perfect qualities of a heel and qualities no successful face can have, he is a terrible face, the crowd arnt into him at all, hell Triple Z is more over with fans than him!!

- I love his ring music, i recon that suits him down to a tee, and add to that im addicted to the song but he seems to be trying to get his RKO as a catch phrase and its pathetic."Iatolia of rock and rolla", "and thats the bottem line cause stone cold said so", "if ya smell what the rock is cookin", hell even Snitzky's "its not my fault" is better than using RKO as a catch phrase.

Apparently Batisita has one of the best attitudes backstage too, despite his push.

I think your a little harsh on Orton. Orton, thats all he needs, is that one big catchprase that will catch on. After he has that his promos will be better and his status as a face will be better.

Batista is the man, if it werent for that injury after his debut he would of been a big star earlier..

In my opinion, Orton is better then Batista. Bigger and better Future.

Orton is only like 22 years old, but I dont see how you can give him a face turn a few months ago, then turn him heel straight away. I agree he is a better heel then a face but give him more of a chance of him being a face.

i know what u mean, orton is going to be a star (although i hope shelton over takes him)..but seeing the push that orton has recived and the fact the crowd isnt really 'over' the whole thing is never a great thing..

the reason he isnt as big as he should be is cause his face turn was far too quick..you cant expect fans to turn around and cheer someone who came up feuding with foley and giving him some crazy punches.

in my mind orton is good, not great but its clear the guy will be a huge star in the future..like every wrestler he needs things to work on.

Also i personally think orton being a heel most his career will be alot better for him..he looks and sounds like the arrogant guy he portrayed earlier.

Also one person that orton should be thanking is tripple h, the way he is playing the feud is great...

Orton needs to learn to promo and for the love of god turn heel, sorry but he is one of the worst faces ive ever seen

So I doubt that Shelton will be bigger then Orton, however Shelton is a great wrestler, and one of the very few pure athletic erestlers that are going around.

Shelton is shocking, he is much worse the Orton in doing promos.
Shelton is one of my favorite in ring wrestlers, but for Promos he is shocking..and thats coming from one of his biggest fans.

no one is denying shelton blows at promos but im saying he is a tad better than orton... not saying much for him there thou

Are you saying Orton's promos as a face alone?
Because Orton was throwing great heel promos. And im sure if he gets a catchphase that can catch on like what Austin and the Rock had, he will be a succesfull Face.

as a face its rubbish, it lacks everything a good face promo has.

Batisita is 35, not 37 (Not that it makes that much of a difference) I think he's 36 pretty soon though.

Being a bodybuilder means that his body is still in top condition because he hasn't put it under heaps of punishment in wrestling. Remeber that 40 year old who applied for tough enough and said he was 30? He got an OVW contract, and the same thing goes for him.

If all goes well, batista should have another 10 years left in him i'd say.

i wasnt saying shelton was great on the mic i was just saying id like to see shelton become bigger and better then orton..

Orton had some good promo's as a heel..at the moment he looks way out of charracter playing a face (his been a face for about 5-7 months at the moment so his had some time)..

The greats are the ones who can play both..orton cant at the moment but he will eventually..

oh 35/6 my bad i thought 37 but still..the guy is in great shape and his mic skills are of those who have been in the company for years..
