Agree 100%!!!! that big waste of space ah mau or wateva the f#ck his name is, big for nothing!! Our hardest running forward is our smallest forward, Young!!
No one else seems to run with aggression, bend the line, break the f#cking line...
Marketo has heart, but lacks the size, latimore has the size but lacks the heart... As does ah mau, a forward is a forward... Job description, get the ball and f#cking CHARGE!!!

its not the forwards, all year we make the metres to get to the opposition scoreline, and all year we fail to convert, not being helped by Flo on the wrong side either.

but even that withstanding, Vidot coming out of the in-goal kills me, he has no concept about getting down low and staying in-field.

I thought we dominated the Manly pack tonight. If we had a decent play to go to when in the opposition 20 we would have won.

Well our pack was good, few mistakes and maximum effort while up against the premiers after they had an embarrassing loss last week. Fodder for the whining knockers but for the true supporter far from a disaster.

I disagree. I thought manly were no where near their best tonight. DCE had a poor game. His kicking game was especially bad. Foran looked well under done(as to be expected). We seem to have little trouble getting the ball out of our own half on most occasions but most sets in attack to me look like we are making it up on the run. That would be great if we had the play makers capable of doing it but clearly we don't. If it weren't for a terrific run from BMoz we wouldn't have looked like scoring a try.
I really hope we can turn things around but it's hard to see it at this stage.

All im going to add is that we have NO attack.. we have poor 'go foward' (due to some useless fowards) and we extremeley lack 'creative plays' (due to not having a proper halfback)..

now not going to start suggesting who should play what and where, but will add we will be in a world of hurt if this continues throughout this year and the years to come if nothing is done about it.!!!!!!

Manly were without some of their key players and they were off their game tonight. And yet they still beat us easily.

Hornby's game was off again and should not be there.
Vidot improved on last week
Nightingale is clearly not comfortable playing left wing
Soward hardly ran to the line all night
Very few real offloads and short passes from the forwards

Your right mate with your statement "We had our chances to win but just can't convert" . I think it was around the 10 min to go mark (score was 10 to 8) when we looked as though we were getting some go forward and were getting on top but some crucial options we took... Sowies cross field kick that went out on the full and Coopers attempted grubber kick that went to a Manly player when he had players outside him were crucial mistakes at that stage.....having said that the problem with our team is we appear to be in the contest week in week out but DONT dominate the matches anymore like we did a few years back...Im sure opposition teams and their coaches feel this as well.

Recruiting is not happening like it should be and the fans are left bewildered and following a team that is trying its guts out each week to just keep things respectable. Can only get worse if they remain idle.
