Then taking the kick for goal chewed up a lot more time

Had they just got on with it , or had the Nathan Cleary game smarts , they would have had at least 30-40 seconds to try and win the game, close to a full set.

instead they had 7 seconds at the resumption, and only one tackle

I really enjoyed the game. Each fullback scored a terrific try against the other. The little Qld five-eight did some lovely stuff. And our halfback - not much of a long kicking game, but made interesting use of the grubber kick (which we don't see much of in the NRL these days. I'll watch this again next year.

I really enjoyed the game. Each fullback scored a terrific try against the other. The little Qld five-eight did some lovely stuff. Thought NSW were the better side, terrible tactics cost them the match IMO
No idea why they didn't use Penitani/Sergis side, they are absolute attacking guns. But did not mind using Penitani for hitups from a tap restart. Tactic seemed to be for the first 50 min (70 min match), just give the ball lto isabelle kelly to see what she can do, QLD read it like a book.. Once they went down Sergis way late in the game , tries came easily. Terrible coaching Mathew Head, and your opposition was Jason Hetherington !!

Thought the ref pinned NSW for play the balls couple of times could have let them go. Where QLD let off with dodgier ones
