So let the signing shenanigans begin!!!

Would be kinda good if the salary cap was defined, what an amateur sport seriously.

I also look forward to the hot mess that will be the 2023 draw some time soon to see if buying a season ticket is worth it.

Is training back on now?

This salary cap bullshyte has a fair potential to disrupt the whole off season and well into 2023.

NRL salary cap increase is completely dependent on how they go on the punt today.
Big Win = Big Cap increase
Loss = Negligible incraese

Well yes that is the rumours. I don't buy we would give up depth for Klemmer 1 year early/get over the line. I think depth is worth more than that... Plus I think the Tigers get Brooks for him done.

Noted. However, I'm seeing it a bit differently. I don't think 2024 will be "the" year. I don't think the Sharks have opened the window yet. I just have a hunch that the vision isn't for a quick win. I think the club is building to be a much higher power in the game. That'll take 5-7 years. Success in the meantime will be welcome but won't be the end game. Becoming a consistent top 6 or even top 4 team will be the long term goal. I think the club is just like the fans in that they want another premiership but the difference is the fans want it yesterday and the club wants to build to the point of being a chance every year. In the meantime, if it comes it comes.

The depth is emerging from within and there is quite a lot of it. They are young and green but they are there. That's not ever a strategy I have been in favour of. All you long termers would know I haven't been one to push for the youth too hard.

Game has, yet again, changed and youth will be our way forward but they need leaders. The 3 who look like they may be up for a sideways shift are not leaders. To replace them with a forward leader wouldn't be a negative.
