Warriors deny Moimoi speculation

Wigan Warriors have dismissed suggestions that they are attempting to sign Fuifui Moimoi from National Rugby League team Parramatta Eels.

The 27-year-old prop forward, born in New Zealand but with Tongan heritage, also played in Australia for South Sydney Rabbitohs and has international honours for the New Zealand A side.

Wigan chairman Maurice Lindsay said: "Fuifui Moimoi is a good player but he is not in our plans for 2007.

"We are reasonably advanced in our squad building for next season and any signings that we make are in conjunction with our head coach Brian Noble and at all times with the salary cap in mind."
