What a great mananger Braith is

Illias stayed at Souths for unders (didnt want to go on open market) cause he wanted to keep latrell / cody together and he could see them winning premierships

Very Smart didn't price himself out of Souths to a shit team which would ruin his career. Braith plays the long game.

Mario wasnt the type to shy away from heavy contact. He wasnt scared and seemed to enjoy putting his head into places others wouldnt .... might be paying a price now.

Was also interesting, his wifes opinion of his time on the footy show. I had got the impression mario enjoyed being the fall guy for the gags, but she didnt see it like that.

From what I understand science won’t know until Mario passes away and if he donates his brain Steve Folks style. A family friend is same age as Mario and about the same in cognitive decline. He has never played a contact sport. Maybe Mario was going to get it anyway or maybe not.

I did see a study the other day which showed brain function of a person who exercised daily and what happened when he stopped. Bottom line is that if you don’t use it, you lose it. Keep moving merkins and maybe you have a better chance of it not happening to you.

My heart goes out to the fenech family. Tough footballer that never took a backward step.

I didn’t thou agree with how they portrayed his role on the show. He always had the option of cancelling his contract if he wasn’t happy. I dare say he would of received a decent pay cheque each week.

I dare say there’d be many factors into MF decline. Is RL solely responsible? I wouldn’t think so

Weedler to BA: Brad I wont ask you about you picking your son all the time, because I'm not one of those scumbags, so I will just include it in a preamble and talk about it anyway to keep the balloon in the air.

I always thought it was the same thing? What's the difference? Genuine question
Dementia is an umbrella term for that sort of thing. Alzheimers is more of a fine tuned diagnosis and that's all I know. Mario certainly has been diagnosed with early onset Dementia, unsure what happens next. The science difference is that dementia is a syndrome and alzheimers is a specific disease.
