How could scheduling the Broncos/Storm game the same weekend as rep games ever be a good idea. Even with the dramas of last year and the unknown quantity of our side for this year, the Broncos and Storm were always going to provide a significant amount of players, now robbing the game somewhat.

It is ridiculous isn't it? It has turn what would arguably hbe the game of the year into a virtual farce.

They are just lucky that the rest match was moved from Christchurch to the Gold Coast, not that Bellamy is going to play them the next night anyway.

Saturday could get nasty.

Maybe it's because each side will be pretty much equally decimated. But still...stupid 'logic'...

 @ the NRL

If there is a positive in this scheduling, and if the players don't back up, at least we'll get a chance to watch some of our u/20's /NSW Cup players on the big stage.

Its going to rob the match of some credibility and bragging rights will be hollow for the winning side as it wont be a true indication of the better side due to the disruptions, injuries, lack of preparation etc for both teams. What a shame.
