Nathan Brown gives us our best regular season finish in 12 years and we're going to sack him

It is a sad but true fact.

If we get the spoon then yeah its a chance, as any team would, but he had his contract extended as a show of confidence from the club so I highly he is going anywhere.

My money is on Hasler, Smith or Elliott. All have drawn criticism from their supporters and would have to be a chance.

you wont get the spoon, but with the lineup the dragons have they would be expected to be in the top 4. In 2005 they should have a record something like this...24 games...16 wins, 8 losses.
Hasler isnt going anywhere in 2005 as its his 2nd yr and Manly wouldnt do that to a "favourite son". Smith and Elliott have a shot at being dismissed early.

Like i said Brownie had his contract extended.
He will not be canned next year as he has shown that he is a worthy coach.

Langmack did not.

It's so Brian Smith. I'm shocked that Kemp is so far up there. If New Zealand don't make the top six next year, I'll be absolutely stunned. They'll shock everyone next year.

Hasler will serve his term. If he fails, Tooves will slot in for '06.

He did quite well with a side that cost the least of any and was branded The Worst in the comp before a ball was kicked...I criticized alot of his coaching decisions (Tactical ones largely), but he seemed to have worked those out by seasons end. If he fails to better Manly's defence, he'll get the punt, because there'll be no trouble scoring points.

I voted for Kemp, but in hindsight as to what I expect to happen next year (Warriors 7th/8th), and a couple of "glamour" clubs in Canberra and Cronulla to have woeful seasons, I think Matt Elliott will be chewing a lot of gum, and Stuart Raper will be folding his arms in a few heated meetings.
