NRL DRAW 2006 & Beyond

The draw for the 2006 AFL competition has already come out with every game & DAY each game is played on, already listed.

The NRL needs to really get its act together.

Being in Qld, it is extremely difficult to plan a trip to Sydney to catch the Sharks in action when you don't even know what day they're playing on.

Game day is not disclosed (ie. Friday night etc) until 5 weeks prior to telecast. It's all about Channel 9....televising what game they believe will be the highest revenue winner. (They want to wait and see whose hot/flavour of the month)

The NRL should really do something for Rugby League Fans for once and get their arse in gear !!! I hate losing to those AFL chooks.

And move the Grand Final to Sunday arvo while you're at it!

I thought it was going to be given a trial in 2006 before the 16th team came in due to poor ratings at 7:30 for nine.


I hope so it is sh*tty how they keep some games till 6 on a sunday night...

Remember with 2006 draw, that both Tigers & Cowboys get to select there round 1 opponents, cant see us being chosen, i do hope we dont get round 1 bye, nothing worse then that

i don't see a problem with the current situation ie the benefits outweigh the drawbacks
