As they say in the classics I have two chances of winning this week Zero and none.
Looks like I will be slipping further down the ladder.
My goal now is top 8 by the end of the year but even that is looking dodgy.

Gees it's hard when a team has a bye and you have 3 of their players. Anyway I've done the best I can and at this stage have a full squad of 17 eligible to earn points.

If anyone is looking for a winger who might rack up a cricket score this weekend, I recommend Stonestreet. I just traded him.

Last week I had Doueihi and Tom Turbo in my team. That was a train wreck.
Mate Tom has always been useless in fantasy coach but AD was a good choice but he was overpriced by 30k I reckon. If you could have got him cheaper, the way he was playing he could have doubled his worth. Then later you trade him. :)

It's definitely a steep learning curve and you learn mostly from your mistakes I find.
Are you enjoying it DOM.
You must admit it does give you an interest in watching more games and getting to know other players and how the team runs.
For example.... If you need a centre, watch the previous games and see what their dominant attacking side is. Some centres are neglected because who they are playing or who the best centre is like Best.

Too right. As I learnt with stonestreet. Good player but the opposition rarely kick to his side of the field. He finds it hard to get involved. Hence the trade.

Knowing what I do now I wish I could go back to the start of the season and pick my team from scratch again. I didn't realise at the start the importance of the emergency players.

I put AD in because he is a goal kicker as well. Tommy Turbo when he is on is one of the top 2 or 3 players in the game but geez he is out a lot.

I agree, but the way the Fantasy Coach bean counters work, he rarely scores well, even if he scores to win the game....stats are a good and results take a back seat.
It will be interesting who gets picked as captain.
The battle between Haas and May? May is capable of playing 80min whilst Haas normally goes off last 15 first 15.
If May holds his own, the bean counters will notice it and award more points.

That's why its addictive hey.
Each season I learn something new but I rarely hit the 1k.
A few years ago I did and went great for a month until I ended up in hospital and didn't adjust team for 3 weeks. Down I went fast :(

Ratz, hudson young was going great guns then goes to bin for shoulder to the head. He'll be the first in the crack down to get suspension. There goes my chance to hit the 1k.
Crazy.

NRL webb site has him scoring 75 !

I hope that is true. I looked when there was less then 20 mins to go and I was ready to trade him.

He's the first person I pick Ned for round 1. Keep him. He could have got close to 90 or more. Double that for captain.

Lads just a bit of advice needed. I've seen a couple of you talking lately about trading your players who have increased in value. I'm assuming this means swapping them out for cheapies who you think might start performing. What are the pros and cons of doing this? I'm assuming its to have cap space at the back end of the season, to pick players still in finals contention?

It hadn't occurred to me to get rid of my high performers as they're getting me good points every week. So far I've only traded players who aren't doing the job.

The value of my team has increased to $10.8 mil. Do you need to ensure that is below $10 mil by the end of the comp? I'm assuming it tells you that for some reason.......
