A hardcore Penrith fan - whose had decades of volunteer work with juniors and local refereeing - told me today that the team were arrogant and dismissive of the supporters - including heaps of kids, of course - who lined up for hours to meet their heroes on 'fan day' last Tuesday.
They just did their obligatory ten-minute appearance on stage and then they were off. The only nice ones were (no surprise) To'o and my man, Jarome.
The guy said he'll support them next year but it might do the entire club's ego a bit of good if they finished in the middle somewhere, or even lower.
