I know it sounds silly to be bestow the immortal tag to someone after they die but it’s no sillier than awarding it to someone who will eventually die anyway, yeh? Their memories and achievements live on. You know- that sought of shit
I know exactly what you mean, but we really need another name for it.

as long as it isn't cameron smith, the guy was very good, but he was also one of the biggest grubs in the game, he put a player in a wheel chair for life and never even apologized to him.

the guy is a fkwit on the highest of levels and would only put shame to the immortal list.

Couldn’t have given it to a more deserving man. Greatest coach there will ever be imo.

Its a sad thing that David Morrow passed, but really he isn't immortal status, not a great commentator in my opinion and basically lived off the continuous call team telling him how good he was. Spent more time talking about himself than the game

He hasn't been made an Immortal fhs. He's been admitted to the NRL Hall of Fame as a contributor. Only an ex-player can be made an Immortal, and they have to be admitted to the Hall of Fame to be eligible to become an immortal.

Contributors can be media, officials or coaches.
