To be fair the Knights when he played at a national school boy championship Storm offered him more then double what any other NRL side considered a big deal for a 15 year old. Canberra made their huge offer of $15k a year for him but Storm already offered over double that. Most top 15 year olds get 5k a season to sign.
Not that Knights were not interested.

I cant reveal my power but I will likely be killed tonight if mafia can still kill (which they most probably can). I won't be acting tonight.
