But if we had Tafua and Toupo we prob don't have Radradra

Penrith are a funny team. I realy thought they would shine this year. Its still early and they show some good signs. But Soward Kingston and Wallace are ordinary

Penrith have no x factor. Most of their players are reliable first graders without any standouts. They also have 2 halves with no running games. It has been the only game this season where i was confident we would win. I'm surprised they have won as many as they have

Penrith are massively over rated

Let them think Soward and Wallace are the answer

Agree that Penrith halves are ordinary but they are not a shit side. Could be there when the whips are cracking if they get their shit together.

Gould and Cleary got no idea you reckon?

hiring halves which no one else wants, plus hiring a 33yo prop whos best is well behind him, doesn't scream "great idea"" to me.

maybe they are waiting for their academy to kick in some young players

They're only a win behind us yet people are writing them off already? They nearly knocked off the Storm in Melbourne too. All you need is a bunch of solid first graders to make the 8 there's always a couple of teams that sneak in that way.

Must be why you're in the business of criticising the decisions of others, rather than making any of your own.

Soward and Wallace are both solid first graders with Origin and finals experience. There's plenty of worse halves than those two. Kite provides veteran leadership and long experience in a winning culture.

I think they were good signings and Penrith have a solid squad.

They have a great academy. Just needed a few veterans and proven first graders while they get the youngsters ready for the NRL.

They have a solid plan and it's working. Not surprised you can't see it but.

I'm talking about their squad this year. Where do you think the panthers will finish Pou?

Anywhere from about 5th to about 14th. Just like most teams.

Typical Pou response, trying to keep his options open. The bloke wouldn't go out on a limb if it meant he might look stupid later. I suppose he's not doing a bad job of looking like an idiot without giving people more ammunition.

What am I supposed to try and guess the final position of every team? How the f**k would I know? How the f**k would you know?

Where teams finish comes down to luck with injury and off field distractions. How can we predict where and when injuries will happen? I can say that Penrith are less at risk of getting the spoon than a team like Parra, Cronulla or the Cowboys, because they aren't as reliant on one or two players.

And at the end of the year there will be a team in 5th and a team in 12th (and I can't predict who they will be, and neither can you), and there will probably be nothing between them when we look back to this stage of the season.

I suppose you could be right, or wrong. There's a 0% to 100% chance either way. I wouldn't hazard at a guess though.

Do you think a team's final position on the ladder is determined before the season even starts? Or do you think things happen during the season that change their chances?

There spine isn't bad if they put Segyaroo starting.
This young guy on wing DZW and Keiran Moss are also talents an one will be the long term fullback. They have two very good centres and a good forward pack. There a top 6 team that needs to get rolling soon. Cleary will tweak them up slowly and once gets them tuned should run fairly well and not use a whole lot of gas .
Parra are playing great but have the pedal to the metal so to speak. We are burning up a lot of fuel baby. And at some point you might run out.How long can we keep up this intensity? And if it does drop off what will happen? Reason why we must rotate so we don't burn out.

Why would Pou know about Penrith? You want to know about the mountain men you ask me. Wallace was signed as a cheap fill in cause penrith lacked halves.Soward I think was a mistake. Tyrone Peachey needs to be on bench and KK dropped.
Like I said they will make the 8.Next year they will maybe make a dash for the top 4.

I still think that Parra will make the 8 and with our style scare teams. We are going at about 63.43 % using my power ranking system.Aslong as we don't burn out we should reach 97.78% by rnd 26
