NRL Salery Cap Structure

Top 25 players should be paid as follows:

Top 3: 500K avg total $1.5M
Next 7: 250K avg total $1.75M
Middle 10: 150K avg total $1.5M
Bottom 5: 50K avg total $.25M

Totals: $5 million

I know this is not possible but this could be a simple structure to follow.

Either that or keep the cap at $4 million and you are allowed one player outside the cap like the A-League soccer

Thats all good and well

but

Souths top 3 players are
Adam McDougall
Joe Galovau
John Sutton

whereas Parra's top 3
Nathan Hindmarsh
Timana Tahu
Glenn Morrison

Are both these 3 worth the say 1.5 mill

I think if a team utilises their own juniors then they should either a) not be counted under the salary cap for the first couple opf recruitments or b) Local juniors are allowed to seek outside funding.

You will probably have 10 players at every club claiming that they should be in the Top 3 !!!
