So how'd ya'll do this weekend? Who did you give the game ball too and who's getting dropped to reserves?

Looks like a pretty close competition, the lowest score was 800+ and we had 7 people who scored 900+ plus, with one just missing out by a point. Good job gang.

I'm fairly content with how my guys went. Hodges & Johnson were the two risky choices I went with and they paid off handsomely. Was also happy with O'Neil's which I had originally thought had yielded no points but there appears to be a glitch with apostrophes.

Need to make a few changes. For next week due to suspension (Tahu) & injury (Tedesco) who I felt extremely bad for when it happened. You just knew as soon as he buckled before the defence that it was his season and I couldn't wish that type of injury on anyone, especially an 18 year old.

Considering a couple of other changes but I'll keep them a secret.

Going to have to burn trades to get rid of my duds and bring in the studs before round 3 price rises.

Really surprised with Geddes, 46 with a busted bicep is great. If he can hold his spot hes going to make heaps of cash.

Overal not too disappointed, although some people will have to make room for others if they don't pick up their act...
I'm looking at you Buderus, Stanley and Soward. The latter will make way for Johnson if he doesn't greatly improve, before the prices go up.

Very happy with my cash cows choices, except Tedesco for the obvious reasons, and he's hard to substitute at that price! :?

Farah was a massive let down for me.

Already made my two trades and still have Tedesco in my squad.

Good thing he's already on minimum wage.

Farah is on his last legs with me as well. Decided to play it safe and he let me down - I've never really rated him highly so if he fails to produce anything this weekend I'll abandon ship and try and see if I'm not too late on any of the other form front rowers.

I did alright, Matai injured so obviously i'll be trading, he's quite a costly one, also trading out Gidley, I had a brainfart and remembered he's not playing the role of fullback anymore so probably won't cross the stripe as often

Just realised I haven't been selecting reserves.

Played the last two rounds with only 13 players.

My game against GTB pretty much came down to the difference between Slater and Cronk... Talk about a no contest!

Lost in all 3 leagues I'm playing. This year is turning into a disaster SC wise.

Doing quite well in DT on the other hand...

Finally cracked a thousand but still not good enough to win on the weekend, Stewart pulling out late didn't help but wasn't the only problem.

Think my team has been killed by a lot of high profile injuries. The loss of Farah, Burgess, Parker, Fensom, T. Williams, O'Neil, Tedesco etc. has forced my hand and none of my cash cows are stepping up like I thought they would. Need to hold off trading for a bit and save a couple for the future but there's a ton of changes I wish I could make, specifically involving my front row which is killing me at the moment.

True. Cronk has won me two SC games now.

Slater was busy all night but things didn't quite fall his way. Anyone see Matt Bowen run him down? Scary...

Bowen is probably one of the fastest guys in the comp over 30m or so. Him and Jennings.

I would have thought those injuries would have made Billy faster than Bowen...

Apparently not, impressive stuff from the mascot.

Yeah he must be. I know Slater has been in a boot but Bowen reeled him in quick smart.

I know we're a bit off topic, but I think the smaller blokes have a good advantage getting up to speed quickly. My favourite ever chase was Matt Seers running down Brett Mullins in a club game years ago. Mullins had a 7 meter head start on Seers, Seers had to stop, turn, then give chase. Being low to the ground helped him hit full tilt real quick and reel Mullins in.

Anyway, sorry. Back to the topic.

I hate this game.

Get the top score of the week (in our league) and my opponent just happens to be the second highest so that my terrible for and against doesn't even improve.
