I remember being at a trial game at the Sports Ground back in 1982 , it was Easts vs St George , it was a very hot and smoky day and this unknown player came out, with no program we didn’t know who it was, we called him Larry because he reminded me of Larry Corowa when he had the ball in hand, that player turned out to be Ricky Walford,
