Given I only could play 16 (That is fixed now), I am impressed that I got the win, and scored well. I think just making the semi's in this comp is going to be an accomplishment, and given the trading limitations, you will need to think long and hard before letting someone go.

Also learnt a good lesson, it can be bad to have too many duel position players.

FFS Everyone get on Moltzen to score a thousand. I heard two reports saying he was out, & said to myself "If see one more I'll give him the hook". I saw. Hooked him. And of course his mug is the first I spot when I change the channel... smh

Frk me! Full couple of days, I forgot about my picks when I had a chance to do them, remembered them when I couldn't. It auto picks a side, puts in Moltzen & Mortimer but leaves out Benji AND no f'n kicker.

I can write this round off...

same as me mate, remembered to do it about half an hour ago, apparently 30 minutes before kick off is too late :?:

from what i understand the sides do not unlock, so i cant even make changes for players not played yet tomorrow.
Absolute garbage... i guess Fantasy football in this country has a long way to go.

Amazing that my team is the 4th highest scoring team in the comp and yet I'm coming last with no wins, that's fantasy football for ya...

Yeah Raider tell me about it, I've been trying to get this point across to Mig and the moderators for quite some time now, I've tried to provide constructive advice from our experiences with NFL fantasy sites which are much more superior than this one. Even just simple stuff like being able to look at general league stats, stat leaders, other rosters, etc. This site is still quite clunky.

Regarding setting lineups, I said to Mig that we should be able to change individual starters with other starters provided neither has played yet, however the response I got was that the cut off time is 7pm and it's part of the 'strategy' that you need to research and pick the best team you have by this time.

I think it was just a cover up to say that they didn't want to implement the system, makes no sense not to.

It took us 3 years to get the snake draft finally as an option, people continue to try and argue that a staggered draft is just as fair, I just have to sigh....

Seriously AB if you don't like it - go and play another Fantasy NRL. We have a lock out system for a reason and let's be honest how hard it is to name a team - it takes 2 minutes and you're done. Why is an hour or so before the first game - so you can;t see the official teams that are named before kickoff.

If a coach leaves it to the last minute like Raider_69 - yep you miss out and why should we 'reward' coaches like CS for not putting in a team by selecting his best possible team. You have 5 days to name a team - clearly those who don't, don;t really care about it anyway.

We believe NRLCEO coaches need to have some sort of responsibilty.

As for 'your' Snake draft, you had nothing to do with it's addition to the site so stop beating your own drum there. Everything we do, every change we make costs money. Money that you and the other 5000 users don't contribute to. We want to keep NRLCEO free to use and if that means foregoing a few little things with the site, then so be it.

You can sigh all you like - there is no cover up on our behalf - I'll tell you exactly how it is.

Comparing us to a multi million dollar NFL Fantasy site is a joke....

And yeah let's put stats on the site and have to pay somewhere between $25000 and $200000 for those rights......

Hot tip - Don't be a winger on my team. My starting wingers this year were Michael Gordon and Jharal Yow Yeh...

The best bet is the NRL to bring in their own fantasy comp, using their own stats and run it like a million dollar industry, which it is.

There is a lot of money to be made in this business of fantasy sport, australia has not began to scratch the surface. I applaud you for coming up with a system that is as good as we've ever had since VNRL. (Although admitably its still some way behind it)

As for your comment, if we dont like it, dont play it... dont be surprised if that attitude lands your product in the gutter. You are in a unique position to carve yourself a nice piece of what will eventually be a very lucrative pie in this country. Telling people who are offering you feedback on how to improve your product to go and get f**ked is not really a very smart business model

Last week i had Matt Cooper in my squad. All week long he was reported to be playing, an hour before the game it was announced he was out. He's stuck in my team, i was informed as i could be.

but i take your point, if i dont like it, i shouldnt play and my advertising clicks elsewhere. You've got a good building block but there is still A LONG way to go before your product is even to the level of the VNRL. So ill do as suggested, and go elsewhere next year.

We have always listened to contructive feedback and criticism. We have various ways in which you can directly give us feedback - having a whinge about aspects of the game that annoy you is not one of them.

I promptly reply to ALL feedback and questions if they are directed in the right manner. Many users have received responses which opens their eyes to our future direction and they learn why things are the way they are.

I'd be more than happy to hear about VNRL and what you feel they had that we don't. I don't remember VNRL having the ability to change your team mid weekend either but I could be wrong?

Do yourself a good one mate, ask your users about VNRL, what made it so good. Most, if not all of them probably cut their fantasy NRL teeth there and they will provide you feedback in the manner in which you seek

Im likely to just rubbish your product (which in spite of all evidence to the contrary i quite like given the alternatives) when i don't intend to be that abrasive, its just my nature.

You've got a great building block for something good, and trust me, you'll need it, sooner or later someone in this country will realise the money in this industry and pump the money you dont have in it, if you can beat them to it there is money to be made (if i had the know how to do it, ill be all over it), continue to work on it and listen to the feedback, particularly from guys like Ab are seasoned FF players and his experience will give you a great guide of where your direction should be.
Dismissing him with some "like it or lump it" attitude is very short sighted imo.

I will give you this piece of advise though, in the off season id work on your interface. Its very clunky. I think a face lift is required.

anywho, ill leave you to your product, im sure you know more about this than i. Im just sharing my experience

Given that I've been playing on this site for 3-4 years, brought plenty of new users to the site and even contributed financially via a season guide, i would think that would buy me a little respect Mig.

Im just giving feedback on the site and what would make it better, you have to understand too that users get a great deal of frustration when things don't work well, understand that we are all supporting you, but don't take it personally when we point out issues.

Teams 1 and 2 go head to head this week with the Denver Broncos going up against the House of Tebow. Only for and against separates the two sides and both teams share the same home ground (Mile High) so there is no homefield advantage.

Should be a cracking match!

Sorry guys I haven't been active in this. I really hate the website. Especially the way it works on my Mac. If you want to give my spot to someone else, go for it.
