i watched wests v penrith to day and if wests get any one in the h/mats they are kiding
Agree with Seijka. He hasn't lived up to the expectations in my opinion. He just hasnt come on as people thought and at the moment I don't think he should be the selection for the NSW 18s at 7.
:? What does that mean get any one in the Harold Mats ?
Do you mean get any one in the NSW under 16 team ? :sarcasm:
Every team who makes the semi's gets at least one player in their somewhere ...If Wests win their semi against Manly (no chance) they may even get two.

Unfortunately I think the selectors, who ever they are, take the soft u/20 and Aust Schoolboy option. Last years team had three players in it whose Sg ball team didn't get within a mile of the finals and some top 4 teams got 1 player in the team....????well said scruffy any bum can go through the toyota cup teams and see an S.G Ball kid playing 20's and say oh theres your NSW fullback or whatever, doesn't make it so, also if you are in a competitive S.G Ball side there is still some prestige left in these junior comps and clubs and players want to win them so they let them play out the season, expect ALOT of the better blokes playing in the Ball Semis and GF to be playing 20's this year.

Not all NSW SG Ball players trial for NSW schoolboys teams, CCC, CHS, CIS, they don't want to give up school holidays in the lead up to their HSC exams. Also, a lot of boys who go to private schools aren't allowed(by their school) to nominate for school boy league teams because of school rugby, GPS, CAS etc. Also, not all u/18 players go to school.Think picking Oz schoolboys is good form guide although NSW 18s play before oz team named. In this case take into contention those in NSW schools teams and SG Ball form. Someone from CHS who has to be best in their position out of 20,000 cant be too bad. Last years schoolboys should be walk up starters. No doubt the selectors know who these guys are and look favourably on those who have been at that level before. These selectors are also generally at these schoolboys selection trials so when they choose the final team out of the prelim squad these factors will no doubt play on their mind. The best of the Ball players should make these schoolboy squads otherwise they probably arent "the best".
