Cotric from Canberra was disappointing last week in their loss. No "shoe in" in my book.
I think the smokey for the fullback job in the 16's is Matt Cooper from the Knights!!!!!!

Does the rule included school boy football (nswccc)?Lachlan Lam has chosen to represent Qld, he was just named at HB for Qld U16. One of the first selections under the father rule I believe.

I agree, if not for age restriction he would have debut for the knights at NRL, this is well known. I believe the team should be selected for the players that have competed in the ball competition all season. If they play 20 that's great, that's what they should be eligible for. That goes for qld as well. I think the knights will pull the pin on Sione for this one, I reckon there will be a few other clubs doing the same. Gun side though. If I were the knights I'd withdraw Sione Mata'utia, he's got nothing to gain playing under 18's. No disrespect to the boys at under 18 level but Sione has progressed well beyond that grade, he's already arguably the best centre at NYC level, was close to MOTM in the 20's origin game, had a full off season training with 1st grade and if not for age restrictions no doubt would've played 1st grade already. I just don't think it'd do him any good to play on Wednesday night then have to back up for NYC on the weekend.
Yes - this would be very scary, but I really will be surprised if it happens. It would an absolute flogging, especially with the special players that's in the side.If he does end up playing, he and his childhood best mate Tevita Pangai will do some serious damage down that left edge.
Hard to believe Sione and Tevita played together for souths Newcastle for a few years as kids, would've mentally scarred quite a few poor kidsYes - this would be very scary, but I really will be surprised if it happens. What was the score in the under 18's SOS?
