He's been the best outside back in the game over the past 18 months collectively by a million miles.

Does that count for nothing?

Doing it at club level wouldnt matter if he sucked at Origin. But he was a f**king beast last series.

He's proven himself capable at this level... and I dont see how you can drop him for a bloke who hasn't played centre in years.

Morris dropped for a fullback.

Insane. Only thing this backline has going for it is size. Looks like the kind of backline we used to pick a decade ago.

You'd have to be on crack to pick such a mind boggling team. You've got 2 centres who don't play centre at club level, 4 backrowers on the bench after Qld monstered us in game 1 it was obvious we needed more big bodies and with Klemmer out it was a no brainer to have 2 specialist props on the bench so what do we do we go the other way and have 0.

On another note, I'm surprised to see Wade Graham recalled just 2 games after a knee recon. Especially since he was on the outer last year after giving away a vital penalty in the '17 game 2 loss. I'd have thought he was the epitome of the player Fittler was leaving behind. Fergo as well.

There is some panic in this side. They've got two sessions at most to gel.

Stats mean dick. He outplayed them and got them off their game.

And the Souths pack was full strength.

Pretty hard to blame him for yesterday when our backs dropped the ball every set before he got a chance to run the ball.
