i dont see how though

Because, in reality, the Raiders only send about 5 or 6 players up each week. The rest are full-time Souths Logan players, either contracted to Souths Logan, or Raiders contracted players who have been asked to move to Queensland for the whole year as part of their development.

As an example, last week the Raiders would have flown Josh Dugan, Adrian Purtell, Josh McCrone, Glen Turner, Joe Picker and Stuart Flanagan up, but the majority of Raiders in the Souths Logan side would have been up there training with the team full time (eg Brad Cross, Michael Brophy, Matt Smith, Sam Huihahau, Shaun Fensom, Joel Thompson, Daniel Joyce, Nick Skinner, Josh White, Chad Grintell, James Stuart, Shea Moylan, Kose Leilei).

Paying return flights for 5 or 6 players plus a living allowance for the others (not even sure if they get that) would easily be cheaper than fielding an entire team with all the gear and support staff required.

does this also mean if you had a mssive injury crisi in the hooker and halves youd be able to pull phil dennis or matty king into first grade

I dont think either have any sort of contract with the club, but if that did happen id say that'd probably be where we looked for replacements.

Well, considering the way the NSWRL has been so poorly managed nowadays, it seems stupid to put Clubs in a corner and not allow them to save some cash.

no i think what theyre trying to do is keep clubs in nsw doesnt matter if theyre a different club like souths-norths and parra-wenty, just as long as they dont put them in the q cup

if this said injury crisis did happen the raiders would be crazy not to consider matty king or phil dennis for a utility role of the bench

How come a NSW side is allowed to play in the Q Cup, Tweed Coast Seagulls, and feed a QLD side. Will that change?

Current set ups wont change. They are just attempting to block any new arrangements between NSW based NRL sides and Qld Cup teams.
