Are we getting into bed with melb again??
Personally i think it hurts us, i know its good from a financial point of view but we need our own players to call upon when needed.
Will we have the coin to be able to do this.
I did notice this year that when we have had players injured and i have a look in nsw cup the best were melb players.
It is a big step from Toyota cup to the nrl.

I'd like to see it die in the arse to be honest but I don't know if it can simply be dissolved as it was undertaken as a full on joint venture i.e. merge.

The Storm are in the process of joining forces with the Albury Thunder who won the group 9 GF. It may not get up for 2013 but will do in 2014. So I'd be expecting us to go it solo next season!

Surely it can't be a full merger between us and the Storm.
And surely the NSWRL would have no problem if it was a stand alone Sharks team.

The only problem that I can see, is that our NSW Cup team missed the finals (even with all the Storm players in it) and our NYC team missed the finals, so where are we getting 20 NSW Cup standard players from?

I one day want to see our pigs take the field all wearing wrestler style masks. We could have a manager roaming up and down the sideline with a walking cane.

Now say someplayer gets binned for decking a showpony winger and gets 10. While he is meant to be in the bin, just exchange him with a player of similiar build.

I reckon if played right we could get away with a player rotation of 20 - 21.

Just say the sideline manager takes down an opposition player sprinting clear down the line - manager trips him with the cane - ensuing rackus - mayhem erupts - why no one is looking - a quick as a wink change-a-roo of player.

And that'll f**k emmm as far as rorting the cap too.

Police probe Ray Hadley party

POLICE last night confirmed they are investigating an alleged incident which occurred during a party at the home of top-rating Sydney radio host Ray Hadley during the early hours of Saturday morning.

About 70 teens - friends of one of Hadley's daughters - were celebrating their high school graduation at the Dural home when the incident involving a 17-year-old occurred.

More than $1000 damage was also done to the home.

Senior police sources last night confirmed a complaint by the boy over the alleged incident at Hadley's home.

A spokeswoman for NSW Police confirmed in a statement that police were "investigating an alleged incident during a party at a home in Sydney's north-west.

"As this is a current investigation it would be inappropriate to comment further."

Last night Hadley's lawyer, Peter Dawson, welcomed the investigation "so we can ascertain what person kicked in Mr Hadley's electric front gates off their guide arm and hinges".
