Was it an overlap? It looked like simple hands and woeful defense.
Only player I recognise in the Roosters is Billy Smith, whereas we have 9 guys with meaningful NRL experience (not going Kalani Going who played one game)
That what I thought too. I even wondered if he was going to pull up shortMartin defuses an attacking kick, steps, makes a half break and offloads it to Berry who runs 70m (fairly uncomfortably, it must be said) to score.
28-0 HT

The depth of the Warriors club is starting to show through in cup footy.
While our NRL side might not be perfect, the average quality of the thirty players and up and comers has condensed in such a way that we have TMM leading the cup side to first place on the NSW cup ladder.
Bunty is close to, if not the best prop in cup footy, Tom Ale is up there too. They might not be stars, but that form is important in terms of filling in at NRL level when we need them.
Obviously TMM not lip dropping, and going super Nova is one of the best examples of leadership and humility that this club has ever seen.
Lets not forget that in years past, the Warriors didn't drop NRL underperformers back to cup footy, and even came up with fake injuries for blokes to protect their reputations.
The Wahs are a different organisation to the old Warriors and it shows in Cup under Webster, now anyone can be played in cup and expected to go all out.
Kinda notable how few of those guys careers have gone anywhere since at the Warriors or elsewhere really. CNK and Tof Sipley obviously have but then guys like Lino and Turner who I thought we should’ve retained at the time didn’t really make it at their new clubs. One of my workmates coached Turner as a junior and said he was an absolute gun.I used to see this 1st hand when i went to all the NSW Cup games when Kearney was in charge.
The Sipley Brothers, Sam Cook, Charnze, James Bell, Jazz, King Vuniyayama, Lino, Paul Turner, Tuimavavae-Gerrard, Leivaha Pulu, Hayze Perham, Chris Satae, Ata Hingano, Patrick Herbert the list was so long for these excellent players that Kearney wouldnt pick. Even when players were horribly out of form like Adam Blair they were never dropped for our young guns
I always thought Ata Hingano would be the next big thing to come from the club. Possibly to be as good as SJ. So the club goes and signs Keiran Foran and that turned to shit and we ended up losing Hingano about a Season later. Idiots!!Kinda notable how few of those guys careers have gone anywhere since at the Warriors or elsewhere really.
